REPETITION
It is often said that there is power in repetition. This is true, because, repeated actions become a habit, or repeated words stick to the hearts. This is truer for children because when you repeat an instruction over and over, they automatically have it stuck in their heart.
The best way to make a child memorize a scripture, remember an instruction, remember an equation or whatever needs to be remembered is by repetition. Habits are built overtime when repetition becomes the order of the day.
Repetition is a sure way to help your child remember things. Have you wondered how some kids know the multiplication table off-hand? This is because they repeated it every morning maybe at school or anywhere and it stuck to their head.
Even for some basic home skills like how to sweep the house, how to wash and pack plates, and the likes, making them repeat the process makes them masters in it. At the beginning, mistake is bound to happen but if allowed to repeat the process daily, the mistakes are reduced to the barest minimum until they masters in it.
As a parent, guardian or teacher, patients needs to be exercised while they become masters at it..
